Event Schedule:
Take a Sick Day will have three sessions of roundtable discussions that will be coupled with arts-based activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We will have two breaks: one in the morning and another in the afternoon. During our closing remarks we will conduct an evaluation to assess how individuals felt about the day, activities, accessibility and next steps for the Disabled Young People’s Project. Take a Sick Day wants to ensure that registrants have the opportunity to discuss all topics related to disability and more. For this it is very important to make sure that all of our attendees are comfortable in the space provided, willing to share all their feelings, ideas and responses if they so choose, as well as critiques and discomforts about the event. We welcome critiques in the form of follow up conversations and/or emails if you can’t make it to the evaluation at the end of the day.

The Weston Family Learning Centre is located on the northwest side of the AGO. The accessible entrance to the Weston Family Learning Centre is located on the southwest corner of the AGO where Dundas Street intersects with Beverley Street. Once you enter the doors make a left and go through another set of doors, which will bring you to the elevator. Descend one level in the elevator and proceed forward down the hall to the Weston Family Learning Centre.
Directions to the AGO by TTC: The closest accessible subway stations are Dundas station and Osgoode station. St. Patrick station is the closest inaccessible station to the AGO.
From Dundas station, head west along the south side of Dundas St. about 1.0 km to McCaul Street, where the AGO is located at 317 Dundas St. West. Keep heading West along Dundas until you reach the entrance located on the Northwest corner of the AGO building at Beverly St. and Dundas.
From Osgood station, head North along the West side of University Ave. about 450 metres until you reach Dundas street where the AGO is located at 317 Dundas St. West. Make a left and head West 350 metres to the Weston Family Learning Centre entrance, located on the Northwest corner of the AGO building at Beverly St. and Dundas.

From the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW): Merge onto the Gardiner Expressway. Turn left at the Spadina Ave exit. Continue north and turn right when you reach Dundas St West. You will see the AGO at the corner of Dundas Street and Beverley Street on your right side.
From the 401: Take the Avenue Road exit and go south to Dundas Street. Turn right onto Dundas Street West and you will soon see the AGO at the corner of Dundas and McCaul on your left side.
Airport: From Pearson International Airport, follow Highway 427 to Toronto via the QEW/Gardiner Expressway. Turn left at the Spadina Ave exit. Continue north and turn right when you reach Dundas St West. The AGO will be on the right hand side at Beverley Street.
